In the past two weeks, we’ve added a few neat things. You can now use hues to change the color of any item you’re currently wearing (you can change the color of your beak, too!). Hues won’t save to a specific outfit though, they will just cover any outfit you put on. When you put on a different item, it will also retain the hue.
Hues are located under the Outfits tab of the Player Editor. You can enter any value from -181 to 180, or you can use those little arrows to adjust the hue slowly. To get an item back to its default color, just set it to 0.
To go along with hues and outfits, we added the !ADDALL command to add every clothing item to your inventory. When you say the command the bot will confirm it with you. If you type !ADDALL again, your inventory will be reversed to its previous state.
There’s now a Misc. tab in the Player Editor as well. Previously you could only change your speed, snowball and ring colors with commands (!speed, !sc, !rc), but now you can do that in the editor too. The snowball and ring options will show a pop-up for you to pick your desired color, or you can just input your own hex code.
Some rearranging was done as well! Status color settings are now located under the Playercard tab. Speaking of playercards, you can make yours gray by setting the hue to -181.
Besides editing changes, we’ve added the Treasure Hunt minigame. Below you can see how good we are at finding gems.
The normal beach now shows Rockhopper’s ship so that you guys can get to the Captain’s Quarters to play. Alternatively, you can type !JR 422 to go straight there and get ahold of a sandbox.
The last thing we added was a way to disable certain features you may not want to see, such as transformations, name colors and bubble colors. You can access this via the normal Settings button (you know where it is! how long has it been since you played Club Penguin?).
One more thing! Some of you may have been aware already, but moderator applications have been open since our launch. Although we will not be hiring at all times, you can still send in an application so that we can see it when we are hiring. You can send in your application from the account panel as a support ticket , under the Moderator Application category. Keep in mind that typically we will not reply to your application unless you are accepted, and that if you see others are being hired but not you, it may not be because you were denied but rather we only need a few moderators at a given time. You may still have your chance later on.
As always, if you have any suggestions, leave them in comments. By the way, keep an eye out this weekend for a survey we will be putting up in-game.
